Once again the weather has been fantastic for diving. The water has been clear and seas have been calm. What more could a diver ask for. Don't miss these great conditions. If you haven't been for a dive for a while, now is the time to get wet, don't miss these conditions.
The water temperature is still on 23C which is very comfortable for this time of the year.
We had some of our divers who are heading for Santo in a few days, come on out to give their gear a shake down dive before heading off overseas. This is such a good idea. Don't wait until you are overseas on that special holiday before you find out that one piece of dive gear just isn't up to scratch and should have been either serviced or replaced before venturing on that dive holiday. Replace it or get it serviced and then take it for a dive either to get familiar with it or to ensure it is working well.
We have others waiting for September for the P.N.G trip and others excited with the Tonga trip to snorkel with the whales. Add another dimention to your diving and treat yourself to an overseas holiday to experience the great and different diving that these countries have to offer. Experience the different cultures too. This always adds to the holiday when you travel overseas.
We are waiting patiently now for the pilchards to come into the bay and onto the wreck. This draws other pelagics including the exciting mac tuna. What a sight they are when they swoop in to feed on a school of pilchards. The HMAS BRISBANE has something different to offer as the seasons change, check it out.
