Dive HMAS Brisbane Dive Report 20th April - 27th April 2010
From glass outs and 25 metre viz to rough seas and lots a wind. It all happens so quickly. Thankfully, it changes the other way just as quick.

The foul weather caused us to cancel all diving off the Sunshine Coast over the weekend and it looks like all of this week up till Friday. Let's hope it settles down for the weekend. The signs of this happening are good.
It hasn't been all gloom and doom as we really have had some stunning dive conditions lately. It has just been punctuated with some pretty poor stuff as well.
It's worth mentioning though that through all of this that the HMAS BRISBANE has fared very well. There has been absolutely no damage to the ship. The only problem we had was a couple of the mooring buoys and transit lines need some attention. This didn't stop us from diving but these things needed attention. Thanks to the EPA these repairs were authorised quickly and the contractor was out there first chance and got everything back in order.
Kelly and her group finally got off the ground to the Solomon Islands this morning, a day late, indirectly due to the volcano ash problem. They're all in holiday mood and wern't fazed by the delay after being put up in Brizvagas (Brisbane) for a night.
