The PADI Advanced Open Water Certification

This scuba dive program provides the novice diver with a structured, well supervised means to gain additional experience. It involves students in various underwater tasks that broaden their awareness of the environment and their capabilities as divers. It will not make the student an expert scuba diver, but rather gives them a taste of what more specialised diving activities have to offer. The program is designed to develop skills under the supervision of an experienced diving instructor so the student will feel comfortable in a variety of situations. Students will learn how to dive at night, navigate underwater, explore greater depths and much more!

Totally "Hands On", very little class work and no exam.

The diving course may be taken by a certified PADI Open Water Diver, or those who hold an approved equivalent scuba diver rating. It consists of five open water training dives, three core dives (required dives) and two elective dives.

The three compulsory dives are as follows:

• Underwater Navigation (combining natural and compass)
• Wreck
• Deep

 PLUS two elective dives of either: 

• Nitrox: Extend your Bottom Time! ($25 AUD extra)
• Underwater Photography ($50 AUD extra for Digital Camera hire Includes CD)
• Fish ID
• Underwater Naturalist
• Peak Performance Buoyancy
• Boat Diver
