Meet the Sunreef Dive Team
The dive team at Sunreef is a collective of experienced and youtful enthusiastic dive professionals. We really love what we do and it shows. Whether we are diving the former guide missile destroyer HMAS Brisbane, now one of Australia’s most talked about dive sites, or searching for Nudibranch’s along our beautiful reefs our Dive crew love to show it all off!
We have a mixture of male and female instructors all with a slightly different style but certainly no compromise on your safety. Our dive professionals lead our local dives as well as domestic dive trips and international dive tours. Domestically we go to Wolf Rock at Rainbow Beach, South West Rocks near Port Maquarie in NSW, Julian Rocks at Byron Bay, Flinders, Moreton Bay just to name a few. Commitment to Safety
Sunreef complies with P.A.D.I and Queensland Government safety regulations. In addition, all instructors are current holders of First Aid Certificates and oxygen providers.
All diving courses are conducted using a mix of classroom, video, pool tuition and open water training dives. While provision is made for participants who progress quickly, there is no hurrying of others who may need to take longer to efficiently manage equipment and develop skills. Only when the instructor is certain that each participant has confidently mastered all basic equipment handling techniques will they be allowed to progress further.
Personal Attention
Most participants learn easily, but from time to time, we have found that some people need a little extra assistance to become confident in the water and managing their equipment. Our instructors are trained to recognise these signs and will work closely with an individual to ensure that skills are mastered and any anxiety is overcome.
Commitment to Fun
New friendships and fun is what scuba diving is all about. Participants thoroughly enjoy learning this exhilarating sport. It seems that every dive introduces divers to new marvels so typical of our underwater environment.
